The importance of reflection
Daily reflection is an important part of recovery and indeed life and something that both clients and the staff team do lots of here at Somewhere House Addiction Treatment Centre. A chance to reflect is a time to process, it's a time to look at ourselves and assess what we have done well, what we could have done differently and our learning from the day. Did you know that this is part of our structured group therapy process and we also have a life skills group once a week which we call 'Reflective Learning.'
Allowing time to learn about and process feelings is an important part of the recovery journey as it is a different way to manage ourselves, rather than reverting back to trying to 'fix' with a substance.
On this website there is lots of information about the recovery programme that we offer, check it out and if you need help please call and speak to one of our friendly team.
