New Admissions

More admissions have arrived today at Somewhere House residential treatment centre. As we have previously blogged, this is a daunting experience for a client newly admitted to treatment. There's a lot of change, new faces and places, group therapy and one to one counselling.

Plus, whilst we don't currently detox clients, most arrive to us still feeling the effects of their detox. We are here to support clients through this process, with kindness but also with firm boundaries. Mutual respect between staff and clients is why this place thrives the way it does.

Once settled into treatment, the possibilities are limitless for the client and the rewards are there to be enjoyed.
