What's it like to work at Somewhere House?

I have worked at Somewhere House as a support worker  for two months. At first it took a while to get to know the clients and for them to get to know me. Five years ago I was a client in Somewhere House myself and so, have experience of being in the house and the process of going through treatment. This has been very beneficial to me and to my role. I am here to support the clients and this means listening, challenging behaviour and being supportive of all aspects of their recovery. Working here is very rewarding but challenging at times and has also been a large part of my personal development and growth .The team are very professional, open and supportive of each other.Everyone works with the clients best interests at heart .
