Volunteering

Another busy day at somewhere for a volunteer who has come through treatment who is willing to give back to support the newer peer settle into the house whilst helping staff within their role.

A potential client has come for a visit and an assessment where peers have made them feel very welcome by showing them around the house and explaining how the somewhere house works. The assessment works both ways so it’s much about the individual wanting to come to somewhere house as-well as them being suitable for treatment.
